Hi i have a new system which i am trying to get up & running with no great success.When i boot into my system the first boot page is fine but on the second one it stops with a cursor under the last bank of memory & justs blinks at me can anyone shed any light or give any advice please.
The system is as follows
Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H mobo
AMD Phenom X3 Triple Core 8650 2.3ghz skt AM2
OCZ DDR 1066mhz Pc2-8500 Gold Memory 8Gb
Asus 9500GT 1Gb ddr2 PCI-E Graphics
OCZ Stealth XTream 500w PSU

Incompatible memory

Have you ever considered to change your DDR memory to DDR2 Memory?

It can be anything, but the most likely and most frequent cause is defective or incompatible memory.
Also read the manual about what memory is needed. Some motherboards work only with two memory modules, not with one.
