Controlling orientation of skype video RECEIVED in Win8.1

Fri, 2018-01-19 11:17 by Sebastian42 · Forum/category:

When I send Skype video from my mobile phone to a Win8.1 desktop it is received in an orientation that may or may not be appropriate - sometimes it is upright, sometimes sideways, sometime up-side-down. Is there a way to 'force' the appropriate orientation?

Enhancing Screenmarker

Wed, 2016-08-10 07:24 by Sebastian42 · Forum/category:

The very useful little program called ScreenMarker v0.10 suffers IN WIN10 from disablement of the UNDO tool. There is another program out there by the same name but listed as v1.0.0.1, which MIGHT offer the same features and possibly have the UNDO functional. I'd like to try and find out, but I can not install it

Win10 snippingtool is not snip-ready like Win7's was

Mon, 2016-08-01 05:46 by Sebastian42 · Forum/category:

I read in a 2015 post that someone was using Win7's Snippingtool in Win10, but when I tried that in my Win10 Build 10586.494, I did NOT get a capture-cursor as I did in Win7 - not even when I ran it in compatibility mode for Win7. I have looked at alternatives on offer - they may well be wonderful programs and offer loads of options, but do NOT resolve my issue : the snip-readiness that Win7's snipping tool had which is missing in Win10. I think it should be fruitful to focus on the 'running in compatibility mode', and would be happy to receive any available help there. Or any other solution.

Middle button not working

Fri, 2014-06-20 16:42 by Karol · Forum/category:

I have a logitech mouse with a wheel which is also a middle button. once the middle button was active, in the browser it scrolled up, down and to the sides and in the Autocad software it panned.
Now it stopped doing all those things. nothing. i set the middle button function selector to "middle button" in the logitech software but no help. also the function "autoscroll" doesn't help.
What happened and how to fix?

Desktop Management

Thu, 2014-02-06 09:54 by Sebastian42 · Forum/category:

Windows allows very little choice as to location and size of desktop wallpaper, whereas Active Desktop Calendar has a feature whereby an image of one's choice and be 'deployed' in ANY location on a desktop, as a wallpaper/background. Does anyone know of a program that confines it self to THAT functionality ?
