Hi. Well, yesterday my windows xp just refused to boot.
Not really refused, but it just shows black screen with cursor (that one - "_") flashing after that windows logo with blue line.
Neither safe mode, nor last succesful configuration work.
I have another windows xp on another hard drive (the one not working on "d", the working one on "c", I'm not really sure if these are physically different drives). It works fine. When I open "d" drive everything seems fine there too. CureIt (free drweb utility) finds no viruses.
So I did chkdsk, then fixboot, then even fixmbr from windows recovery console (or whatever it's called, the thing from cd), no result.
Any suggestions, please?

Is the other partition readable at all? Can you see it and its contents?
