Settings aren't correct

Sat, 2009-03-28 14:38 by Wizi · Forum/category:

I bought a Acer 9412WSMi from a family member but that person was blind and has changed every settings from the size of the pictures i've been able to change the size of the minimalization screensize and the close tab located top right corner the normal buttons but don't know how to call these haha. But the problem i'm having is that when i install the new msn messenger the tabs are huge and the pictures from buzzer emoticons and the rest at the bottom of the screen are also very large and not viewable.

Flatten, reinstall from scratch

The "Screenshots" link doesn't work. I get something after a very long time, but no screenshot.

But why don't you just take the install CD that came originally with the computer, flatten the current installation and install from scratch? I would do that with a used computer, if only to be sure to get rid of all viruses and malware that may have accumulated.

Same recommendation

The photo site shows me something different every time, but never any full-size screen shot. I would recommend to use a better image site.

But even if I could see the effects, I would probably not be able to point out all settings that could cause these.

I can only recommend to reinstall Windows from scratch, which, to me, would be the only sensible solution. Of course you need a Windows DVD to do that.
